    Job Title: Swiss Machinist

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Swiss Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC Swiss Machines. The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, performing tool changes, and executing program offsets. Additionally, you will conduct quality inspections using micrometers and calipers, and perform preventative maintenance on machines.

    Responsibilities

    + Program, set up, and operate CNC Swiss Machines.

    + Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

    + Perform tool changes and program offsets.

    + Conduct quality inspections using micrometers and calipers.

    + Perform preventative maintenance on machines.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience programming and setting up Swiss CNC machines.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints.

    + Experience with micrometers and calipers.

    + Knowledge of Fanuc control systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Tsugami Swiss machines is a plus.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a well-equipped machine shop, operating primarily on the first shift from Monday to Thursday (5:30 AM - 4:30 PM). Steel-toed shoes are required, but you can wear shorts in the summer and a relatively plain t-shirt or sweatshirt. Enjoy a modern facility with improved lighting and new equipment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
