    Job Title: Roll Clamp Operator

    Job Description

    The Roll Clamp Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll clamp equipment to handle, transport, and store large rolls of products. This role includes receiving and staging products, packaging, counting inventory monthly, and creating work orders daily.

    Responsibilities

    + Safely operate roll clamp machinery to move, load, and unload large rolls of products.

    + Receive incoming products and stage them in designated areas for further processing or storage.

    + Package products according to company standards and prepare them for shipment.

    + Conduct monthly inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of stock levels.

    + Spend approximately one hour each day creating and processing work orders to ensure smooth workflow.

    + Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling practices.

    + Inspect rolls for any damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor.

    + Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all materials are stored safely.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience operating roll clamp equipment.

    + Ability to inspect and stack products.

    + Proficiency in using a computer to enter work orders.

    + Capability to count inventory (boxes/pallets) monthly.

    + Forklift operation experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous inventory experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a clean room/manufacturing environment. Our team is currently overworked and in need of support, making your contributions invaluable. The work attire includes steel-toed shoes, a t-shirt, and long pants. The position operates during the day shift, from 6am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ridgeville, South Carolina.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
