    Job Description

    As a General Production Worker, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing of frozen dough. You will be responsible for operating various equipment, including ingredient mixers, dividers, molders, and sheeters, to produce raw dough that meets company standards. A significant portion of your time will be spent scaling dry ingredients and mixing large quantities of dough. This position requires physical strength as you will occasionally exert up to 50 lbs of force. Your duties will include setting meters and scales, reading instructions, gauges, and thermometers, and performing basic math calculations.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate equipment such as ingredient mixers, dividers, molders, and sheeters.

    + Scale dry ingredients and mix large quantities of dough.

    + Set meters and scales, and read instructions, gauges, and thermometers.

    + Perform basic math calculations to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to exert 50 lbs of force occasionally.

    + Basic math skills for counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

    + Experience in a fast-paced and repetitive position is required.

    + Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is ideal but not necessary.

    Work Environment

     

    The production environment involves working with frozen dough and maintaining a temperature between 66-68 degrees year-round. It is a fast-paced work environment. The dress code requires plain long-sleeved shirts and long pants, with specific guidelines to ensure safety and hygiene. Jewelry, exposed body piercings, perfume, cologne, fake eyelashes, eyelash extensions, fingernail polish, and false fingernails are prohibited.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HAZLE TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.80 - $18.55/hr.
