Job Description:
GMR Initiatives team is looking for a counterparty credit risk subject matter knowledgeable project manager to be responsible for the delivery of complex technology based regulatory and/or audit remediation, and strategic projects. Responsibilities include managing stakeholder input, documenting business requirements, establishing end to end project plans, driving user acceptance testing including tracking and managing issues, establishing appropriate governance routines and ensuring stakeholders and senior management are informed of the various project status, escalating as necessary.
This role requires close interaction with the GMR Risk sponsor, Global Markets COO, Risk Managers, Global Risk Analytics, Quantitative Services and Data Group (QSDG), and Market Risk & Global Markets technologies groups. Broad familiarity with Global Markets and Market Risk highly desirable. Previous Project Manager experience is a requirement.
Responsibilities include:
+ Engaging and sustaining active partnership with key stakeholders and business partners,
+ Managing stakeholder input, documenting business requirements including data components and sign-offs,
+ Establishing and managing end to end project plans including identification of action steps, key milestones, and dependencies,
+ Establishing appropriate working group and governance routines to drive and manage progress against requirements, track critical path deadlines, and manage cost-to-deliver against funding allocated
+ Coordination of key project deliverables in partnership with various key internal and external business partners, ensuring adherence to change mgt standards and rigor esp. with respect to audit and regulatory remediation
+ Driving user acceptance testing including tracking and resolving bottlenecks and issues, escalating where necessary
+ Ensuring stakeholders and senior management are informed of project status, risk and mitigation strategies
+ Acting as primary contact for engagement, review, and responses for Regulatory, and Audit requests
Required Skills:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or relevant field or equivalent experience
+ 8+ years of experience as business analyst, project management, and governance preferably within capital markets and/or risk
+ Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large-scale, cross-functional projects
+ Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
+ Self-starter, critical thinker, and able to influence others who do not report in to same team
+ Proven ability to work in a complex, fast-paced and evolving environment
Desired Skills:
+ Experience with JIRA and Confluence
+ Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
+ Experience with technology methodologies
+ Experience with Tableau reporting design"
