Summary of Program

Summary of Position

This internship position is in Information Technology department that supports our Procurement and Supply Chain Organization. Intern will work with software engineering product teams dedicated to building state of the art technology solutions to help our business users meet their cost reduction, revenue/margin growth or business transformation objectives. Interns will learn how to use Amazon Web Services including Generative AI services and their skills in analytics and advanced analytics to solve business problems. This internship also provides an opportunity to experience Agile methodology working in scrums.

Intern Duties & Responsibilities

+ Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with product teams that include Product Owners, Architects, Data Engineers, Web and API developers, Cloud Engineers, Scrum Master to understand intern project goals and objectives.

+ Configure and develop solutions in AWS clouds using various services including AWS Q and QuickSight to meet business objectives.

+ Test the development and configuration to ensure good quality solution.

+ Work with the other team members to deploy the solution for business user testing.

+ Documenting and presenting the solution built.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled at an accredited university/college as a Senior or Graduate Student or a recent graduate.

Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, IT, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics.

GPA: Min 3.0

Availability: Must be available to work in St. Petersburg Florida from May 19, 2025 – Aug 8, 2025

Technical Skills: AI and Machine Learning, model building and validation skills.
