CTG is seeking to fill a Business Systems Analyst I opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.
**Location:** Buffalo, NY
**Duration:** 6 months
Overview:
+ Responsible for coordinating and consulting with application owners and other Business Systems personnel on application changes to implement new products and services and/or meet internal/external customer needs
+ Completes various system testing activities not covered by other teams such as clients completing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
+ Executes test cases for assigned applications or systems
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Prepare functional specifications for assigned projects and execute test cases under guidance
+ Assist in research and analysis to ensure accuracy in the functional design of assigned projects
+ Develop and execute test cases for assigned applications based on changes and enhancements
+ Support integrated testing to identify application issues prior to production changes
+ Monitor change requests and functional specifications to ensure projects remain within scope and meet business and regulatory requirements
+ Assist in resolving issues from testing or implementation and participate in post-implementation follow-up
+ Adhere to corporate standards, risk policies, and regulatory requirements
+ Maintain internal control standards and ensure audit points are addressed as needed
+ Perform other related duties as assigned
Scope of Responsibilities:
+ Support the analysis, design, and testing of application enhancements or changes in a collaborative environment
+ Work closely with business partners and technology teams to ensure application solutions align with business objectives and standards
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
+ This position does not have supervisory or managerial responsibilities
Education and Experience Required:
+ Combined minimum of 2 years higher education and/or relevant work experience
+ Proficiency with personal computers
+ Problem-solving ability
Education and Experience Preferred:
+ Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in progress
+ Successful performance in a Technology Internship
+ Ability to effectively use word processing and spreadsheet applications
+ Understanding of the Bank’s application framework
+ Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Organizational, time management, and lateral thinking skills
+ Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
