Job Summary

Part of a larger team delivering high quality technology solutions to the business. Assists with the design, development and installation of software solutions. Helps build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with internal architecture, development & design standards & best practices. Helps design, modify, develop, write, implement and troubleshoot software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Works within a Waterfall or Agile methodology/framework based team. Collaborates heavily with Project Management, Business Analyst and Infrastructure Job Families.

What You'll Do:

+ Support OSI-Monarch's Power System Applications, including Automatic Generation Control (AGC).

+ Troubleshoot and support the operational SCADA environment to ensure optimized monitoring and reliable system reporting.

+ Maintain custom database configurations for Monarch.

+ Provide on-call support after hours (24/7) on a rotational basis.

What We're Looking For:

Solution Engineer Associate (SG5):

**Education:** Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

**Experience:** No additional experience is required.

An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Solution Engineer (SG6):

**Education:** Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

**Experience:** 2 years of relevant work experience is required.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Nice-To-Have:

Experience/Skills:

+ Basic understanding of NERC CIP security principles.

+ Familiarity with WAN and VPN concepts.

+ Basic knowledge of the C programming language.

+ Awareness of communication protocols such as DNP3, Modbus, and ICCP.

+ Understanding of ladder logic.

+ Knowledge of Remote Terminal Units (RTUs).

+ Experience in workstation management for patches and support.

**Location:** Prefer candidate to live within 50 miles of Columbus, OH

**Solution Engineer (SG6):** $72,380.00-$90,474.50
