    Job Description: The ECTeacher will be responsible for developing and implementing individualizededucation plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs. This roleinvolves collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and otherprofessionals to ensure that each student receives the appropriate support andresources to succeed academically and socially.

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Develop and implement IEPstailored to each student's needs.

     

    -Provide direct instructionand support to students in various settings.

     

    -Collaborate with generaleducation teachers to modify curriculum and accommodate students' needs.

     

    -Monitor and assess studentprogress, adjusting instruction as necessary.

     

    -Communicate regularly withparents and guardians about student progress and needs.

     

    -Participate in IEP meetingsand other relevant school activities.

     

    -Maintain accurate andup-to-date records of student performance and progress.

    Qualifications:

    -Bachelor's degree in SpecialEducation or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

     

    -Valid state teachingcertification in North Carolina

     

    -Experience working withstudents with diverse learning needs.

     

    -Strong understanding of IEPdevelopment and implementation.

     

    -Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.

     

    -Ability to workcollaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.

     

    -Patience, empathy, and agenuine passion for working with students with special needs.
