Salary: $2566 / Week
The School Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of student/client care and/or contracted services in a school setting. The School Nurse may also be in a supervisory position within the contracted services. The School Nurse provides services in accordance with Amergis Healthcare’s philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Graduate of an accredited registered, practical or vocational nursing program
+ Licensed as a Licensed Practical, Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing
+ One year of professional experience, preferred
+ Current CPR
+ PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age

- At least 1 year of experience as an RN is preferred.
- RN must be confident and able to work
independently

Morrow County / Umatilla County
- Working with multiple school districts within Morrow / Umatilla County
Length of Contract:
39 weeks
Hours/Week (Paid/Unpaid Lunch):
Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Mileage Reimbursement Included
Position Details (Age group, Caseload, Duties):
Health Room RN for a School District
Going to be working with multiple school districts within Intermountain ESD
Typical responsibilities include reviewing medical records, developing Health Management Plans/Protocols, training staff for anticipated emergency, training staff for delegated tasks, seizure care, diabetic care, etc.
Will be potentially driving 200 miles during the week to the rural school districts - must be okay with this
Intermountain ESD is very supportive of their contracted staff and treats them like one of their own.
Feedback Time:
24 - 48 Hours

Pay Rate:
$50 -52 depending on experience
