    Description and Requirements

     

    We are seeking a Sales Director for the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) leading the Public Sector team. This manager will lead a team of Public Sector Data Center sales specialists responsible for driving new logos and/or new line of business growth within existing accounts. This leader will not only be responsible for developing short and long term strategies for market share, but ensuring a heavy focus on pipeline health and operation efficiency while also ensuring rep development and growth. This leader will be responsible for all sub verticals in the Public Sector space, teaming closely with first and second line leadership.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Achieve revenue and profitability objectives for Lenovo while driving growth across multiple product sets

    * Develop Strategic Relationships with customers to drive their initiatives while mutually driving Lenovo success

    * Lead a cross functional sales team within the company to keep deals moving through the funnel

    * Conduct weekly cadence to deliver and overachieve results leveraging CRM and BMS tools

    * Interact, engage, and build relationships with the channel to enhance Lenovo's position and scale

    * Work closely with other Lenovo sales leaders and support organization leaders to position Lenovo value, achieve revenue objectives and maintain customer satisfaction

    * Set direction for business development and solution replication.

    * Drive team for operational excellence including activities, pipeline, revenue and profit generation; maintain solid expense control with the team.

    Successfully Lead Sales Team responsible for the following:

    * Identifying, developing, and closing enterprise opportunities within the territory across public sector customers

    * Developing, implementing, and executing an effective sales strategy to achieve sales goals

    * Developing C-level relationships and serve as a trusted consultant to customers

    * Understanding and adapting to Lenovo’s ongoing product and services developments

    * Ensuring that our customers receive world class sales and customer service

    * Effectively and consistently using CRM and other reporting tools to track key sales metrics and consistently meet those metrics

    * Interacting, engaging, and building relationships with the channel to enhance Lenovo's position and scale

    * Working closely with other Lenovo Sales teams and support organizations to position Lenovo value and maintain customer satisfaction

    * Conceptualizing, developing and storyboarding industry and technical presentations to all levels of the organization

    * Developing long term sales pipeline and relationships to increase Lenovo’s market share

    * Creating and growing reference customers

    * Selling across Lenovo's portfolio of complex solutions, being truly consultative

    * Contributing to enduring executive relationships that establish Lenovo’s consultative professionalism and promote its total capabilities

    * Maintaining expertise on typical budgets, objectives, measures, and metrics of the customer’s leadership team.

    Basic Qualifications:

    * Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent experience required

    * Ability to travel 50% travel

    * 10+ years of IT sales experience in the infrastructure space with a focus on public sector

    Preferred Qualifications:

    * Proven track record of successful sales or sales management

    * Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated team building, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements

    * Superior customer retention, development, and acquisition skills

    * Proven ability to grow a sales territory

    * Excellent presentation skills and executive presence

    * Ability to build a high performing sales team

    * Working knowledge of solution selling and Infrastructure solutions

    * Experience developing and selling business value proposition in commercial accounts.

     

    The base salary range for this position is $180K -$230K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com .
