What will you do?
The Rapid Value Stream in Pleasanton is seeking a Formulation Technician II to support our oligonucleotide manufacturing operations. This will be accomplished in the organization and execution of production flow as well as reporting and documentation of production results. This role will support the optimization of workflows and improving product quality. Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills along with the ability to participate effectively in multidisciplinary teams to solve problems in a manufacturing environment are essential. Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment is a plus.
+ Manufacture oligonucleotides for use in the biotech industry by following established protocols and SOPs
+ Operate semi-automated and automated basic lab equipment
+ Performance of highly repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time
+ Thoroughly and accurately complete documentation through completion of batch records and necessary verifications
+ Report escalations/deviations to management
+ Balance multiple tasks and demonstrate knowledge in the use of basic lab techniques and basic computer knowledge
+ Communicate effectively with team members, including cross-functional teams
+ Understand scientific principles to contribute to problem solving efforts
+ Provides feedback and contributes ideas and suggestions to drive continuous improvement
+ Demonstrate good time management resulting in efficiency and improvement of output goals
+ May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned
How will you get here?
Education
Minimum GED/HS Diploma required
Degree or experience in laboratory manufacturing environment preferred
Experience
+ 0-1 year of lab experience (may be obtained through work or school)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
+ Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office, with the ability to learn company software such as SAP, Agile, and Trackwise
+ Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
+ Communicate clearly and concisely
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $21.42–$32.13.
