    JOB PURPOSE:

    The **Program Manager** plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating related projects to ensure mutual benefits and alignment with business goals. Key responsibilities include organizing activities to improve delivery, establishing long-term goals for company projects, and aligning project resources with these goals.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

    This role will manage multiple mid- to large-sized teams and engage with various divisions of the company (such as Operations, Implementation, and Training). The Program Manager is expected to work vertically within teams and with stakeholders, as well as collaborate across peers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. **Program Management:**

    2. Develop, implement, and manage programs in alignment with the organization's strategic goals.

    3. Oversee the coordination of multiple projects, ensuring they align and contribute to overall program objectives.

    4. **Stakeholder Engagement:**

    5. Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, project managers, and external partners, to ensure alignment and support for program initiatives.

    6. Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and senior management.

    7. **Resource Allocation:**

    8. Manage and allocate resources across projects to optimize efficiency and ensure timely delivery of program goals.

    9. Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocations as necessary to meet changing project demands.

    10. **Risk Management:**

    11. Identify potential risks across the program and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.

    12. Proactively address issues that may arise during project execution.

    13. **Performance Monitoring:**

    14. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and track progress against objectives.

    15. Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of program performance, implementing improvements as needed.

    16. **Budget Management:**

    17. Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient and effective allocation of financial resources.

    18. Monitor expenditures to ensure that programs remain within budgetary constraints.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position works under the general direction of the Director of the Program Management Office (PMO), exercising discretion and independent judgment regarding significant departmental matters. This role does not supervise any personnel or reports.

    5. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

    Other Considerations:

    + Bachelor’s degree or greater in any major; candidates with a degree or university certificate in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a concentration in Project Management preferred. Recent Project/Program Management work experience can substitute for a degree or concentration.

    + Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in PgMP, PfMP, PMP; and/or SAFe RTE, SPC; and/or PRINCE2 is desirable.

    + Work experience should reflect increasingly complex Project Management responsibilities in the recent 5-8 years and/or Program Manager responsibilities in the recent 3-5 years.

    + Preference given for work focused on software development, retail software solutions, and business-to-business (to business’ customers); experience with SDLC and iteration delivery is very important.

     

    The base compensation range for this position is $150,000.00 to $160,000.00 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
