Senior Nutrition Wellness Attendant

This is a part-time position working varied days and hours. You will work 32 hours per week. The starting pay is $13.18 per hour. Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position.
Job Summary:
Promote activities within community centers and all tracking and participants in Fitness challenges. You will report to the Wellness Supervisor.
Primary Tasks:
+ Learn proper use of fitness machines and be able to teach elders how to use them safely.
+ Encourage elders to participate in Senior Fitness Challenge. Make sure all elders in the community are aware of the project and provide waiver to all participants and ensure they have signed it before participating in the program.
+ Motivate elder participants to increase their amount of physical activity by gaining input from elders about excise activities they want to participate in and prepare nutritious meal/snack after the exercise program.
+ You will schedule excise actives two (2) times per week at the community center to assist elders with physical fitness activities.
+ You will record group participants using sign-in sheets at each meeting.
+ You will promote program to ensure that 4(four) elders are signed up on weekly basis.
+ Collect log sheets weekly during the Senior Fitness Challenge and tally team results weekly and report them to the Program Director promptly.
+ Encourage elders to maintain an increased level of physical activity after completion of the Challenge.
+ Complete and submit an inventory of fitness equipment located at the Choctaw Nation Community Center on an annual basis, during the month of March.
+ Perform other responsibilities assigned by management.
MINIMUM
+ High school Diploma or GED
