Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Android Mobile Developer with extensive experience in Android app development and proficiency in C++. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications, focusing on performance, scalability, and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, optimize existing code, and ensure the reliability and responsiveness of our mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

+ Drive the technical vision and direction of the team or organization.

+ Lead and oversee the implementation of critical and complex projects.

+ Mentor developers and provide technical leadership to the team.

+ Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business strategy and goals.

+ Establish and enforce coding standards, practices, and development methodologies.

+ Engage with stakeholders to shape and influence technical and product strategy.

+ Promote innovation and the adoption of new technologies and practices within the team.

Qualifications:

+ 10+ years of software development experience on Android/Java-based platforms.

+ 6+ years of experience in C++ development.

+ Experience with RxJava, Redux, MVVM, Dagger2, and NDK.

+ Proficiency with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.

+ Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices for mobile app development.

+ Experience integrating C++ with Android applications.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

+ Understanding of scalable and resilient app development, with testing know-how.

+ Experience with distributed source code systems (e.g., GitHub).

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with C++ 98, C++ 11, and C++ 14.

+ History of writing deployment and/or test automation.

+ Experience building and extending CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or equivalent.

+ Understanding of cloud computing environments.

+ Familiarity with GitHub CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.

+ Prior leadership experience or roles in tech lead capacities.

+ Familiarity with cloud/web technologies such as C# (ASP.NET), TypeScript, Java, Scala, and Kafka.

+ Experience with testing frameworks like Playwright and Cucumber.

+ Experience with agile concepts, especially Scrum.

+ Experience using Jira and Confluence.

+ Experience developing retail or restaurant applications, Point of Sale, or payment applications is a plus.
