**UH Behavioral Health** is the KC metro area’s largest, most comprehensive provider of mental health services. The **Crossroads Building** , located in Kansas City’s vibrant Crossroads Arts District, is its epicenter, providing a broad list of outpatient services. We also offer psychiatric inpatient care, and we deliver therapeutic services through our community outreach clinics. We are a leader in the Trauma-Informed Care Movement, and provide training, coaching and consulting to outside organizations.

Job Description

Under the Direction of the Dental Director, provides general dentistry services to a wide range of patients in an outpatient hospital clinic. Participates in the day-to-day activities of the dental General Practice Residency (GPR) program. Provides supervision and mentorship to GPR residents. Acts as a resource to other staff dentists. Provides dental sedation services and dental services in the Operating Room.

Minimum Requirements

+ D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree and Missouri Dental license

+ 4-5 years of dental experience.

+ Verbal communication skills to explain procedures to patients and consult with physicians, dental specialists, and other health care workers regarding patients.

+ Written communication skills to document procedures on patient charts.

+ Ability to assist patients weighing up to 200 pounds.

+ Requires DEA, MO BNDD

+ Membership in UH/TMC Medical Staff.
