    Regional Safety Specialist

     

    As a Regional Safety Specialist, you will assist plants to achieve short- and long-term initiatives and goals related to safety. This position can be based out of our Tipp City or Middletown OH location.

     

    Every day as a Regional Safety Specialist, you will...

     

    + Collaborate across Precision Strip to develop safety-related items that prevent and protect associates.

    + Ensure compliance and implementation of safety regulations and procedures

    + Coach, train, and assist plants in developing corrective actions and solving problems

    + Investigate safety issues to identify root causes, and ensure issues are addressed and resolved

    + Conduct compliance audits to recognize performance and identify areas of improvement

    + Develop recommendations to strengthen our safety management system

    + Support other projects as needed

    + Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field

    + At least 5-7 years of experience working in a safety-related position

    + ASP/CSP Preferred
