    Job Description Summary

    A Quality Tech ensures that products, processes, and systems meet established quality standards. This includes working closely with the quality engineers to assist them with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards, conducting audits, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Ownership of quality assurance and control for assigned supply chain, customer and products/process areas:

    + Problem resolution, assist in investigations and resolve quality issues related to supplier materials and components. Collaborate with suppliers to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.

    + Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation related to supplier quality root cause and corrective actions.

    + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in the customer/supplier quality team. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices in supplier processes.

    + Collaboration with both external & internal teams, including procurement, engineering, and production, to ensure supplier quality aligns with company requirements. Facilitate communication and collaboration between suppliers and internal stakeholders.

    + Acts as a resource for customer/supplier quality team for activities including but not limited to First Article Inspection Reviews, PO Standard Remarks, Receiving Inspection Problem Resolution, Partial Releases, and Return Material Authorizations.

    Required Qualifications

    + Associate's degree or High school Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.

    + Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
