Position Description:

The Student Engagement Media & Student Communications Intern will provide graphic design, print, and short-form content for the Division of Student Services and Student Engagement. This specialist will plan, schedule, and produce creative projects for various student engagement activities for the Office of Student Services & Student Engagement.

Major/Essential Functions:

+ Plans and produces publications, brochures, posters, flyers, mailers, display graphics, and short form content in conformance with the institution’s brand standards.

+ Develops and maintains production calendars for print and digital projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery. Ensures timely delivery by seeking missing job components from collaborators to maintain project schedules.

+ Collaborates with the Student Services & Student Engagement leadership and the Institutional Advancement team to develop and approve creative packages for high-profile institutional student engagement events.

+ Works with various departments and academic leaders to develop copy and design elements for various communications campaigns (e-mail, SMS, etc)

+ Organize design files and projects in web storage tool for easy retrieval by constituent groups

+ Coordinates the development of the Red Raider Round-up Newsletter

+ May oversee aspects of the CRM communications platform and serve as a consultant to internal partners on best use of the CRM communications tool

+ May procure appropriate marketing materials such as banners, pop-ups, water bottles, coffee mugs, and/or other similar products.

+ Adhere to all policies, procedures, and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.).

+ Personally demonstrate, display and act in accordance with TTUHSC EP's Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Value's leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution.

+ Perform all other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Art, Communication, Business Communication, Design, or another related field and 1-2 years of marketing or experience in creative arts or media preferred.
