    Position Description:

    A job involving an appointment for infrequent temporary work where the employee is called in as needed.

    Major/Essential Functions:

    + Participates in embalming and storage of cadavers used in anatomical teaching based on the processes established by the department.

    + Clean embalming tables, cadaver storage cooler and mortuary equipment.

    + Assists in maintenance of accurate records relating to receipt of cadavers as required by the State Anatomical Board.

    + Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.

    + Personally demonstrate| display| and act in accordance with TTUHSCEPs values (Service| Respect| Accountability| Integrity| Advancement| and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.

    + Perform all other duties as assigned.

    + Current Embalmer license in the state of (Texas)

    + 2+ years of funeral industry experience

    + Knowledge of current federal, state and local regulations related to the funeral industry
