What We Need From You Job Duties and Requirements:

+ Diesel performance and engine repair

+ Complete MPI inspection for service advisors, including estimate and explanation

+ Test drive vehicles with customers to evaluate noise and vibration concerns

+ Repair vehicles based on diagnosed issues and repair estimate

+ Test drive vehicles after repairs have been done to ensure customers' complaints have been resolved.

+ Determine any additional work that should be done to the vehicle after a test drive

+ File appropriate documentation on each repair

+ Keep up to date on all manufacturer information and training that will affect vehicles' repairs (recalls, etc.)

+ Return the vehicle to the appropriate location, ensuring the vehicle is locked, numbered location is updated, and wiped off/cleaned accordingly.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Must have a valid drivers license and meet company motor vehicle report standards

+ Certain manufacturer certifications are preferred but not required.

+ Diesel experience preferred

+ Must be able to stand for long periods

+ Must be able to work in varying temperatures and noise levels
