Job Overview

The University of Dubuque is a growing faith-based University that is seeking a **Graduate Assistant - Heritage Center Social Media and Marketing** for the 2025-2026 term, with a potential renewal for 2026-2027.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Assist with stewardship of Center programs, facilities, and resources

+ Maintain social media sites including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and the CampusGroups app

+ Manage distribution of promotional print materials on campus and in the community

+ Manage distribution of promotional print materials on campus and in the community

+ Serve as liaison to staff, student, Heritage Performing Arts Advisory Committee

+ Assist in student and patron engagement efforts

+ Assist in identifying and fostering various university partnerships

+ Assist in database management related to promotion of events

+ Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University's _Mission_

REQUIREMENTS:

+ Bachelor's degree is required and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters' program

+ Proficient computer skills (Excel spreadsheet, Outlook, Data entry technology, PowerPoint, Word, Internet, Search engines, and social media)

+ Flexibility with schedule as need arises (ex. evening or weekend commitments)

+ Utilize excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal

+ Ability to work with a variety of students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community professionals

+ Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple ongoing projects at a given time

+ Maintain a professional appearance

All graduate tuition is waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA. In return for a waiver of tuition, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week. Additionally, domestic GA's have the option to participate in work-study. Although it may be within a different department from which the GA serves.
