    Position Summary...

     

    The Director, Earnings Governance for Last Mile Delivery (LMD) Operations will play a pivotal role in ensuring that drivers achieve their earnings goals by providing accurate, timely, and satisfactory disbursements and transparency into their earnings. This position is critical in making Spark Driver the platform of choice for gig workers.

     

    What you'll do...

     

    + **Ensure Accurate Earnings:** Guarantee the disbursement of expected earnings within the established Service Level Agreements (SLA), local laws, government regulations, and similar requirements across all earnings scenarios. Work directly with Compliance and Legal teams to identify, define and validate changes to earnings processes.

    + **Financial Institution Optionality:** Provide drivers with various options regarding the frequency and method of earnings disbursement. Collaborate with technology partners on financial institution integrations and requirements for compliance.

    + **Work with Accounting and Finance Partners:** Work with Accounting and Finance partners to translate regulatory and legal requirements into controls, so their operations are compliant

    + **Resolve Earnings-Related Defects:** Collaborate with LMD platform, driver experience, and Global Tech teams to identify, report, and resolve defects that arise related to earnings that impact customer and driver experience. Coordinate with Fraud and Investigation teams to identify and prevent earnings related fraud schemes.

    What You'll Bring:

    + Attention to Detail: Precision in validating and reconciling earnings data to maintain accuracy in disbursements.

    + Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial systems and accounting principles that support compliant operations.

    + Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with compliance, legal, accounting, finance, and technology teams.

    + Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve earnings-related defects promptly and efficiently.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree. Preferred fields include Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

    + Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, accounting/finance, technology, or similar roles.

    + Proven track record in managing complex workstreams, leading teams, and cross-functional partnerships.

    + Experience in the gig economy or last mile delivery operations is a plus.

    The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
