About the Team

The Walmart/VIZIO Team is dedicated to harnessing data to drive business growth and innovation. We collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that inform strategic decisions. As a Staff Data Engineer, you will contribute to our mission of leveraging data to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

+ Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

+ Implement CI/CD processes to streamline software delivery.

+ Perform data integration and transformation from various sources.

+ Utilize analytical tools to provide actionable business insights.

+ Regularly review and improve team processes.

What You’ll Bring

+ 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.

+ Proficiency with Cloud Services (AWS/GCP/Azure).

+ Experience with multiple development languages (Python/Java).

+ Strong knowledge of data warehousing solutions.

+ CI/Automation testing and Agile/Scrum SDLC experience.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 4 years' experience in software engineering or related field. Option 2: 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related field. Option 3: Master's degree in Computer Science and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related field.
