    Description

    The American Arbitration Association (AAA) seeks a skilled Cloud Infrastructure & Automation Engineer to design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and automation best practices. This role focuses on developing reusable Terraform modules, deploying and managing AKS clusters, configuring CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps, and collaborating with development and security teams to ensure scalable and compliant cloud environments. The ideal candidate brings expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, cloud security, and DevOps methodologies to advance AAA’s cloud-native architecture goals.

    Work Environment

    This position offers a hybrid work arrangement; candidates must reside at a U.S. location within 125 miles of the AAA's headquarters located in Downtown Manhattan.

     

    Compensation

     

    New York, NY:$140,000 - $149,000

     

    This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of cloud engineering experience—or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)

    + Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes (AKS) and container technologies

    + Strong Terraform skills with an emphasis on reusable module development

    + Experience with Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps practices

    + Solid scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python

    + Familiarity with cloud IAM, secrets management, and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus/Grafana)

    + Effective communication and collaborative skills

    + Certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) (preferred)

    + Experience with multi-cloud/hybrid strategies (preferred)

    + Background in agile or project management methodologies (preferred)
