Our team makes a difference in supporting systems for National Air Space which provides safe air travel to millions of passengers each year. The mission is to provide world-class software development, integration, testing, and software sustainment support for national air traffic control systems. This position is located in Mt Laurel, NJ.
What You Will Do:
+ Perform software development activities (design, code, and test) on the STARS Database Management System software
+ Implement software enhancements based on system/software requirements specifications
+ Troubleshoot and correct software issues
+ Create test plans and technical documentation
+ Create/update test data used by the software development and integration teams
+ Support the development of software tools utilized by the FAA customer to facilitate the creation and maintenance of the data used to configure the STARS system
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, _or_ An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
+ Experience with C/C++ and experience with Linux/Unix
+ Experience with Database / SQL
+ Experience X-Windows/Motif
+ Experience with Perl
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Experience with Java and JavaScript
+ Experience with Oracle
+ Experience with HTML / QT/GTK
+ Experience with J2EE / .Net
