Pay Rate:

_The pay rate for this job is $13 - $13 / hour*_

What you'll be doing as an Account Payable Clerk:

+ Enter received invoices accurately and timely, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are obtained in accordance with the department and corporation

+ Ensure timely payments of outstanding vendors

+ Preform research and reconciliation of vendor statements

+ Initiate contact with internal and external parties, as needed for supporting documents or missing information.

+ Meeting accounting deadlines for month-end process and closing cycle

+ Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned

Available shifts:

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Availability Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job requirements:

+ Previous accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable

+ Must be used to high transaction and fast paced environment

+ Knowledge of QuickBooks

+ Highly detailed

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Basic knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

+ Ability to meet deadlines

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
