    Job Overview

     

    Under the direction of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician II – Fulfillment is responsible for day-to-day comprehensive pharmacy technician services in a complex specialty/mail order pharmacy. This may include delivery ticket fulfillment, labeling and packaging medications and orders and inventory management. The Pharmacy Technician II – Fulfillment will skillfully use interpersonal, customer service, problem solving and collaboration skills to support and influence operational objectives.

    Required Qualifications

    + 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician with Fairview Pharmacy Services with at least six months of specialty pharmacy experience

    + 1 year External candidates: one-year of experience as a pharmacy technician within specialty pharmacy

    + Registered Technician MNBP Registered Technician with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Graduate of Pharmacy Technician program

    + Completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited pharmacy technician training program

    + 3 years of pharmacy technician experience in fulfillment and/or specialty pharmacy

    + Pharmacy certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
