Koniag IT Systems, LLC, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide leadership and oversight for large-scale, multi-functional government service contracts. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage complex programs while ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction. The position requires working closely with government clients and managing cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services and solutions.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
+ The Program Manager will be responsible for comprehensive program oversight and execution of large-scale government contracts.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Provide strategic leadership and oversight for complex, multi-functional service contracts
+ Manage program planning, execution, performance monitoring, and delivery of contractual obligations
+ Lead all staffing activities including recruitment, training, performance management, and team development
+ Coordinate and direct contract-level programs and projects while providing innovative management solutions
+ Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables and maintain quality control standards
+ Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings
+ Oversee integration of new projects and manage resource allocation
+ Direct contract management, administrative support, and technical staff
+ Support marketing and outreach activities while identifying appropriate consultants as needed
+ Manage program budgets and ensure efficient resource utilization
Education and Experience:
Required:
+ Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
+ Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex government contracts
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in government contracting environment
+ Minimum 5 years of experience managing instructional services contracts
Required Skills and Competencies:
+ Proven experience in program management and contract administration
+ Strong leadership and team management capabilities
+ Excellence in client relationship management and communication
+ Proficiency in project planning, execution, and performance monitoring
+ Experience with government contracting processes and compliance requirements
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills
+ Superior written and verbal communication abilities
+ Experience in budget management and resource allocation
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
+ Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and compliance requirements
Desired Skills and Competencies:
+ PMP or other relevant project management certifications
+ Experience with Department of Defense or federal civilian agency contracts
+ Knowledge of instructional design and training delivery methods
+ Experience with performance-based contracting
+ Familiarity with quality management systems
+ Experience with proposal development and capture management
+ Knowledge of IT service delivery and technical operations
+ Change management experience
+ Risk management expertise
+ Stakeholder management experience
