    Salesforce Product Owner

     

    _Role Overview:_

     

    We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Salesforce Product Owner to lead the development, optimization, and success of our Salesforce platform. As the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, you will own the product roadmap, translate business needs into actionable features, and ensure the delivery of scalable and effective Salesforce solutions that support business goals.

     

    You will play a critical role in designing, building, optimizing and maintaining a customized solution within the Salesforce platform to meet specific business needs and enhance the CRM functionality. Reporting to the Director of Customer and Frontline Self-Service, you will be responsible for integrating advanced plugins into the Salesforce platform while developing business process automation and workflows. The ideal candidate has a strong background in developing and customizing Salesforce applications, as well as experience in designing and implementing complex solutions, combined with a passion for improving customer experiences through innovative technology.

     

    This is a remote job based in the United States. We are only considering candidates currently based in the United States and are not offering relocation.

    About the role:

    + Plans, designs, develops, tests and troubleshoots cloud based applications on proprietary products and platforms

    + Works across the complete cloud stack i.e. Software as a Service (SaaS), and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) and/or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) leveraging suites like Salesforce.com cloud platform, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Azure, Google App Engine and Amazon Web Services/EC 2.

    + Interacts with product managers and other key stakeholders to drive an optimized solution within known constraints.

    + Involves integration of cloud applications and requires knowledge of APIs, pre-scripting, post-scripting, and integration testing.

    + Custom Application Development - Create and maintain custom solutions by designing and developing Salesforce applications.

    + Integration and Development – Programming and Maintenance – Supporting, maintaining, and improving the working of existing Salesforce applications for optimal functionality.

    + Data Analysis and Feedback Loops - Collaboration and Support – Work collaboratively with technical teams to collect and document requirements for Salesforce solutions.

    + Testing and Quality Assurance – Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce integrations and applications.

    + Security – Ensure compliance with security and development standards of Salesforce.

    + Own and manage the end-to-end Salesforce product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

    + Collaborate with business units, stakeholders, and users to gather requirements and define product features.

    + Translate complex business requirements into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.

    + Prioritize and groom the product backlog based on value, risk, and strategic fit.

    + Act as the primary liaison between business users and Salesforce developers/admins.

    + Ensure timely delivery of Salesforce features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

    + Drive user adoption through training, documentation, and change management.

    + Monitor and report on product performance, user feedback, and system usage.

    + Maintain a strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and recommend improvements to maximize ROI.

    + Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, and industry best practices.

    About you:

    + 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role focused on Salesforce.

    + In-depth understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other relevant modules.

    + Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

    + Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

    + Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

    + Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Product Owner) are highly desirable.

    + Experience in CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Salesforce integrations (e.g., MuleSoft).

    + Familiarity with data modeling, reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and automation tools (e.g., Flow, Process Builder).

    + Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX) related to CRM systems.

    + Background in industries such as [insert relevant industries like Finance, Healthcare, SaaS, etc.
