• Storage Operations Engineer

    World Wide Technology (Costa Mesa, CA)


    + 6-8 years of relevant storage administration experience (NetApp Storage, Netbackup, Windows OS, VMware, and Red Hat Linux OS system Administration experience)

    + Passed score for the Veritas NetBackup 10.x Administrator exam

    + BS/BA degree in a related area or equivalent experience

    + Operational experience in a high volume environment

    + Must be able to come on site as needed.

    + Candidate must work in the United States, per NERC CIP regulations.

    + U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency

    + Candidate must successfully pass a background investigation.

    + WWT prefers candidates who reside in the Southern California area.

    + WWT prefers candidates who have the Veritas VCP certification.

    + Certifications

    + NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer SAN Specialist, ONTAP

    + NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer Data Protection Specialist

    + NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer SAN Specialist, E-Series

    + NetApp Certified Support Engineer ONTAP Specialist

    + VMware VCP (vSphere 7 or above.

    Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
