Work the hours you desire: 32, 36 or 40 hours available on day/evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

+ Works in a professional manner on a wide variety of surgical procedures

+ Selects and prepares the appropriate supplies and equipment for the surgical cases

+ Participates in surgery by organizing the instrumentation to the surgeon, participating in surgical counts, and performs related activities under the directions of the surgeon

+ Assist the circulator, with positioning obtaining needed items during surgery, and assisting in room turnover activities

+ Operates surgical equipment as needed

+ Participate in operating room activities related to quality improvement, continuing education, orientation of new personnel and emergency preparedness

Qualifications:

+ Certified Surgical Technologist

+ Associates degree or Completion of Surgical Technician Certification Coursework required

+ 1-2 years’ experience working as a Surgical Technician (preferred)

+ LPN with Surgical Technician Certification/Experience
