    Program Support Specialist , Albany, NY

     

    (50% in Office & 50% Remote)

    Duties:

    This position will work within the Bureau of Community Enrollment and Eligibility Processing to provide support to expand insurance to New York’s neediest and most vulnerable populations.

    Specific duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

    + Assist in the development and timely delivery of communications to internal and external stakeholders

    + Use various systems to research, track and make updates to program data

    + Assist with monitoring the Bureau’s Mail Log

    Desired Characteristics:

    Preferred candidates will have strong analytical skills and the ability to pay attention to details and will also have good oral and written communication skills. Candidates should have proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access); the ability to work well independently and as part of a team and to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Professional experience in public health insurance programs, including New York's Medicaid, Medicare and/or Child Health Plus and supervisory experience is a plus.

    Education:

    Associate Degree, 2 years experience in the healthcare field

     

    _*Employees must follow established work schedules. The usual work schedule is 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Normal work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise specified by the supervisor, this includes a half hour unpaid lunch break. Total work hours must equal 37.5 hours per week._

     

    Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
