JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Prepares tax filings, records tax expense and liabilities, and/or administers appropriate software tools. This position is to be filled in our tax accounting group.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

+ Prepares and maintains tax records, returns, reports, and other related materials

+ Participates in the development and implementation of tax strategy.

+ Determines appropriate accounting treatment for tax-related items and records the results of tax positions/transactions.

+ Prepares regulatory reports and responds to regulatory data requests.

+ Prepare and review state and local tax compliance and audits, and research tax laws.

+ Assist in accounting closes and provide regulatory support and assist in computing depreciation.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum education required of the position

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience.

Minimum experience required of the position

+ 5 years of relevant Tax, Accounting, and/or Finance experience.

Desired:

+ Tax Specialist 0-4 Years

+ Tax Specialist, Sr 5 years

+ Tax Specialist, Sr. Lead 7 years

+ Tax Specialist, Sr. Staff 8+ years

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

+ None

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position:

+ Desired: CPA and/or CMI
