Job Description

Responsible for acquiring new merchant clients, retaining existing ones, and growing the overall merchant services portfolio. This involves prospecting for new business, building relationships with existing merchants and banking partners, and educating clients on merchant services solutions. They also analyze merchant processing statements, identify needs, and recommend appropriate solutions, ultimately negotiating fee agreements and ensuring a positive customer experience. **Rep must be located in Atlanta (intown / ITP) or Augusta to cover the assigned territory.**

Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

+ Two to three years of relevant sales experience

+ Ability to travel

+ Basic knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations

+ Strong marketing, business development/sales and negotiating skills

+ Ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues

+ Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

+ Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $60,435.00 - $71,100.00 - $78,210.00
