As Nurse Manager, you will oversee our 10-bed Cardiovascular ICU, leading a skilled team dedicated to post-surgical cardiac patients while also managing our 12-bed Step-Down Unit, which continues to grow in size and complexity. You'll collaborate with top-tier surgeons performing cutting-edge procedures, ensuring that our cardiac patients receive the highest level of care. Beyond daily operations, you will play a critical role in mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional patient outcomes, all while contributing to strategic planning that advances our cardiovascular programs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Accountable for the day-to-day operations of the Cardiovascular ICU and SDU, ensuring successful implementation of strategy, policy, direction, and action planning.

    + Uphold and meet the Health System's Guiding Behaviors and Caring Standards, demonstrating professionalism in interpersonal communication and conduct.

    + Effectively execute established plans and services by analyzing, measuring, and monitoring department performance, and adjusting direction and resource allocation as needed.

    + Facilitate and manage team performance by applying Total Quality, Human Resources, and financial techniques to drive success and meet performance goals.

    + Establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships ensuring smooth operations and collaboration.

    + Contribute to the development of strategic and tactical plans in alignment with the overall organizational planning processes.

    + Serve as the liaison to Senior Management and the Medical Staff, ensuring effective communication and alignment with the functional areas of responsibility.

    + Ensure compliance with all applicable SARMC policies and procedures, maintaining regulatory standards and operational excellence.

    Qualifications:

    + Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).

    + Bachelor’s in Nursing (Master’s preferred).

    + 5+ years of nursing experience, 2+ years in a leadership role (preferred).

    + BLS certification; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
