Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Has oversight of the entire broker appointment process to ensure proper completion of contracts and marketing agreements.
+ Responsible for reviews of credentialing paperwork, confirmation of active licenses, and assignment of specific coding to be assigned to all new business for tracking and payment purposes
+ Advises the sales and marketing staff regarding producer problems and/or difficulties if outreach/education is required
+ Assists with hiring and training new staff members to their role within the commission team
+ Responsible for managing incoming producer issues from the Service Call Center via designated CRM
+ Responsible for reporting and tracking sales and commission payments to the Sales department
+ Communicates with internal and third-party software developers and assist in the workings of commission models and/ or promotions to ensure programming provides accurate commission outputs
+ Creates and maintains key commission analyses monthly, quarterly & annually
+ Assists in policy and procedure updates in relation to commissions
+ Additional duties as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
+ Experience in the Broker appointment and Commissions spectrum
+ Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
+ Experience with an incentive compensation management tool, preferably SAP/APM
+ Experience working with external insurance vendors/agencies (NIPR, DFS, Background check vendors)
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Active NY State Producer License
+ Experience with CRM; Salesforce a plus
