Job Description
Maytag Aircraft has won a contract for for aircraft & ground fuel services, storage and distribution at DFSP Norfolk, Virgina. Contract start date is July 1, 2025.
Maintenance Manager - Craney Island
The MM must be responsible for the coordination and execution of preventive maintenance, repairs, verification of parts and materials, to eliminate down time and reduce out-sourcing of repairs at Craney Island. Collaborate with employee maintainers by assigning preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to appropriate personnel and/or sub-contractors. Must ensure contractor maintenance program tracks periodic schedules, labor hours, part/material costs, monitors percentage of deferred and completion tasks. Additionally, provides notifications of upcoming maintenance tasks, currently assigned maintenance tasks, and deferred maintenance tasks requiring higher level review and/or assistance. Based on these preventive maintenance requirements, the MM must ensure corrective (Minor and Major) repairs, work orders, or projects, are properly documented, and tracked from cradle to grave in the contractor data base, maintenance program. Ensure facilities and equipment are inspected daily, weekly, monthly, and as required basis to ascertain upcoming or currently needed repairs. Organize maintenance records, test results, inspection reports, and administrative documents normally associated with managing maintainers. Establish and adjust maintenance tasks to meet operational schedules, while maintaining and enforcing a safe and clean working environment.
