Job Description
Purpose:
The position will report to the Senior Alumni and Donor Relations Coordinator and will coordinate the planning, organizing, and delivery of alumni relations programs, services and events that reach, serve and engage alumni and donors for the College of Engineering. This position is also responsible for implementing donor relations, stewardship strategies, and recognition efforts, as well as assisting with the preparation of donor-related communications on behalf of the College of Engineering.
Responsibilities:
+ Proactively develop, prepare, and produce engaging and high-quality materials to support the successful planning and execution of alumni and donor relations events, ensuring consistency with the organization's messaging and branding.
+ Assists with the developing, reviewing and implementation of donor relations and stewardship strategies for the College of Engineering in collaboration with the Engineering Development Office.
+ Coordinate, plan, develop and implement alumni and donor relations events, programs and services.
+ Cultivate, build, and document strong relationships and maintain extensive contact with College of Engineering alumni, students, donors, and business leaders and beyond to promote their interest in supporting the college.
+ Develop, manage and promote a department’s alumni and student engagement programs to former students of the College of Engineering.
+ Assist with the development and implementation of the college’s social media strategy in coordination with the alumni relations strategies.
+ Assist in developing, writing and producing informational and promotional materials for print and electronic distribution to College of Engineering alumni, donors, students and supporters.
+ Build and maintain positive and effective relationships with the college’s department heads, development officers and departmental communicators to anticipate, respond to and implement programmatic initiatives that would benefit from alumni support.
+ Assist in the preparation, editing, disseminating regular marketing and communications (correspondence, newsletters, proposals, informational and promotional materials, press releases, etc.) to alumni, donors, students and supporters on behalf of the vice chancellor and dean of engineering.
+ Other duties as assigned.

+ Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ No prior experience required.
