Job Description

An Insight Global client is looking to hire a Technical Engineer to for one their manufacturing site in Columbia, SC. The role focuses on maintaining existing systems and executing fiber leadership directives, with minimal process improvement. Responsibilities include running trials to optimize recycled material usage, analyzing data, evaluating run times, and implementing machine modifications. The position also involves coordinating with production teams to identify key measures, conduct analyses, and create reports for senior leadership.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree Chemical or Mechanical engineering

Experience in a manufacturing setting

Strong data analysis experience (such as run time, machine modification, quality, etc.)

Process improvement experience

Familiarity with polymerization, hands-on or theoretical understanding Ignition, python, automation, PowerBI for data integration null
