    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    Under the direction of the department supervisor, assists the Technologists efficient workflow in the department and with the comfort and care of patients.

     

    + Prepares the Imaging room with necessary supplies and equipment for the diagnostic procedure.

    + Performs clerical duties as necessary for all diagnostic procedures.

    + Demonstrates knowledge of basic computer skills.

    + Communicates in a clear and concise manner. Interacts professionally and effectively with medical staff, patients and families.

    + Assists the technologist with patient care responsibilities.

    + Transports patients to and from the procedure room an assists technologist in transferring and the observation of patients.

    + Performs other related duties as required.

    + Sends for patient when directed by technologist.

    + Assist with Patient Satisfaction and ED & Inpatient wait times Cleans equipment daily.

    + Replenishes O2 tank supply and handles O2 equipment safely.

    + Stocks linen and keeps blanket supply replenished in warmer.

    + Provides assistance as needed to fulfill patient and other customer requests.

    What qualifications you will need:

    + **EDUCATION:** None.

    + **EXPERIENCE:** One-year related experience preferred.

    + **HOURS:** Rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
