    Our client, a leader in automotive manufacturing, is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to join their team.

     

    As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various manufacturing and process development teams. .

     

    **Job Title:** Electrical Controls Engineer | 3months contract

    **Location:** Grand Haven, MI

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Design and implement PLC/Operator interface programs using GE-Fanuc and Allen-Bradley software.

    + Integrate controls for complete systems and simple process improvements, managing projects to meet production demands.

    + Create electrical schematics including safety systems and communication wiring using CAD software.

    + Support manufacturing production by leading troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.

    + Lead strategic process advancement projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to project milestones.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Engineering or Engineering Technology Degree from an accredited institution with 3-7 years of professional engineering experience.

    + Familiarity with AutoCad (2-D) and experience in programming and troubleshooting robotic machinery.

    + Knowledge of industrial machine control systems, including PLC programming and safety controls.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    + Experienced in using Allen Bradley / Siemens
