    Our client, a leader in the Higher Education sector, is seeking a Grant Financial Analyst to join their team. As a Grant Financial Analyst, you will be part of the administrative team supporting essential financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent time management abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully with the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Grant Financial Analyst-Higher Education

    **Location:** New York, NY (Hybrid)

    ****1** **st** **two weeks-onsite 5 days, remainder- T, W, Th onsite; M & F- remote

    **Pay Range:** $30 - $38 per hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Create and maintain accurate spreadsheets; analyze data to identify trends and potential issues.

    + Interpret report results and anticipate possible discrepancies or concerns.

    + Prepare account reconciliations using both standard and customized reports.

    + Monitor departmental expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.

    + Support administrative operations, including overseeing routine office tasks.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Self-motivated and able to excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word; experienced with DocuSign and Adobe tools.

    + Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

    + Clear and concise communicator, both in writing and verbally, with the ability to explain data findings effectively.

    + Preferred experience: Minimum 1 year grant management experience in a Higher Education environment.
