    Contract Duration: 6 Months – Contract to Hire or Direct Hire

    Required Skills & Experience

    + Strong communication and coordination skills• Technical background (not engineering-level, but must understand:• Cybersecurity concepts (e.g., vulnerabilities, attack vectors)• Windows/Linux environments• Ticketing systems and vendor supportBasic scripting or SQL/Python knowledge is a plus but not required

    + Comfort with digging into new systems (Tanium)

    What You Will Be Doing

    Core Responsibilities

    1. Communication Lead

    2. Act as the main communicator for:

    3. System changes

    4. Updates for system owners, server admins, etc.

    5. Help create an internal web presence (intranet-type resource):

    6. Troubleshooting info

    7. Announcements (e.g., outages)

    8. Instructions, best practices, etc.

    9. This person should be comfortable with writing content, not just forwarding messages.

    10. Vendor Ticket Management

    11. Handle support tickets with Tanium:

    12. Coordinate between three teams

    13. Track vendor responses and internal follow-ups

    14. Ensure accountability and prevent delays

    15. Process Documentation & Improvement

    16. Evaluate and document current workflows

    17. Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements

    18. Requires basic technical comprehension to assess and optimize processes

    19. Compliance Enforcement

    20. Ensure Tanium is installed on all servers/workstations (unless exempt)

    21. Reach out to non-compliant teams

    22. Be firm yet collaborative

    23. Escalate as needed

    24. Requires confidence, persistence, and tact
