If you answered yes to both, we have an exciting role for you. We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager to join Retail Operations and Initiatives responsible for improving variation CX as well as other strategic initiatives aimed at improving the customer shopping experience.

     

    From Day 1, Sr. Product Managers are given ownership of large scale products, the autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions, and the ability to drive significant impact to the customer experience and the business. A senior product manager role with the Retail Operations & Initiatives team provides the unique opportunity to come up with new innovative ideas, launch new initiatives, and make a large impact at scale across numerous product categories. You will shape products and lead solutions while being pushed to grow into a senior leader who thinks big, acts globally, and delivers for customers.

     

    At Amazon, we continue to add selection that delights our customers and fulfills their shopping needs. As the Sr. Product Manager for variation CX, you will develop the vision, roadmap, and success criteria for new features designed to help customers find products that deliver the best CX. To improve product discoverability, you will define and implement best-in-class CX for product variations. You'll use various technologies to test and optimize UX, engagement, and conversion. Further, you will work with worldwide tech partners and design to influence significant decisions and stakeholders across the company.

     

    A successful Sr. Product Manager will be able to understand, prioritize, and manage CX and financial levers as well as technical concepts. The candidate will have excellent product and program management skills, communication proficiency, and motivation to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for working on behalf of customers, have a track record of timely delivery of large scale projects, and have the ability to operate independently. Judgment, influence, and creativity are all essential.

     

    Key job responsibilities

    Key responsibilities for the Senior Product Manager include:

    Defining and implementing new CX features that improve product discoverability for customers.

     

    Identifying defects in the customer shopping journey and implementing solutions to address root cause issues.

     

    Translating CX experiences into clearly defined product requirements for engineering teams to implement.

     

    Managing prioritization and trade-offs of a product roadmap to ensure delivery of a great customer experience.

     

    Anticipating and resolving strategic issues that impair the product/tech team’s ability to deliver.

     

    Role is global in nature and will occasionally work with teams in other regions.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

     

    - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

     

    - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

     

    - Experience with end to end product delivery

     

    - Experience as a product manager or owner

     

    - Experience owning technology products

     

    - Bachelor's degree

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

     

    - Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
