    A Kight Home Center (a division of Carter Lumber) Showroom Coordinator/Receptionist is responsible for providing administrative support which includes receptionist duties, organizing showroom, inventory, and accounts receivable. Ensuring that the process is running smoothly and a strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position

    Requirements to be considered for the position:

    + Previous administrative experience

    + Ability to use strong judgement in analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating problems

    + Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to prioritize

    + Experience working with numbers and resolving discrepancies

    + Friendly, outgoing personality

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel

    Responsibilities of the position:

    Administrative Duties

    + Receptionist duties such as answering phones and greeting customers

    + Performs various administrating functions included filing, faxing and shredding

    + Organizing and maintaining showroom displays

    + Ensures that all mail and faxes are received and routed to proper parties in a timely manner

    + Responsible for collecting on sales tickets throughout the day

    + Orders vendor samples and office supplies

    + Keeps files updated and creates new files as needed

     

    Sales Support

     

    + Reconciles cash drawer and banking information

    + Assists customers with questions

    + Processes new job accounts, ensuring correct salesman is assigned and all paperwork is complete

    + Verifies all product is received and pricing is correct

     

    Accounts Receivable

     

    + Processes purchase orders by matching with invoices and correcting any discrepancies

    + Files purchase orders after verification is complete
