    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This position is 100% onsite and offers a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient financial operations, ensuring timely processing of invoices, and supporting overall accounts payable functions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review invoices to verify documentation and approval prior to processing payments.

    • Enter invoices into the accounting system with accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Handle check requests, ensuring all required approvals are obtained before payment.

    • Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and courteously.

    • Maintain and organize accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and files.

    • Provide assistance to the Controller as needed for various tasks and projects.

    • Perform administrative duties, including filing, copying, and daily mail distribution.

    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management in a respectful and considerate manner.

    • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations while using appropriate equipment. Requirements • Previous experience in accounts payable or related entry-level finance roles.

    • Proficiency in data entry and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

    • Familiarity with accounting software, preferably Epicor.

    • Ability to process invoices and reconcile accounts accurately.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

    • Knowledge of safety rules and ability to operate within compliance guidelines.
