Key Responsibilities
+ Payroll Management: Process payroll accurately and on time, utilizing QuickBooks or Paycor (preferred). Ensure compliance with tax regulations and payroll laws.
+ Accounts Payable (AP): Accurately enter and manage vendor invoices, issuing payments promptly while maintaining vendor relationships.
+ Accounts Receivable (AR): Track customer invoices, monitor payments, and follow up on outstanding balances to maintain cash flow.
+ Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
+ Month-End Preparation: Assist in preparing financial statements, journal entries, and reporting for month-end close processes.
+ Administrative Support: Provide ad-hoc administrative support as needed, including filing, correspondence, and scheduling, contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.
Requirements
+ Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency in QuickBooks (required); familiarity with Paycor is a strong plus.
+ Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll systems, and general ledger processes.
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with internal departments and external vendors or customers.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation.
• Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations with attention to detail.
• Experience with bi-monthly payroll processing and related compliance.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices, including month-end processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
