Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, supporting the organization’s financial health and compliance. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex reconciliations and reporting tasks while contributing to the overall operational success.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed account reconciliations, including bank statements and balance sheets, to maintain financial accuracy.

• Manage general ledger activities, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards.

• Prepare and post journal entries to support month-end closing processes.

• Oversee inventory reconciliations to ensure proper valuation and reporting.

• Handle commissions accounting and related financial adjustments.

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite and Oracle to streamline processes and generate reports.

• Collaborate with internal teams to review and analyze financial data for decision-making.

• Ensure timely completion of month-end close activities, including reporting and adjustments.

• Conduct financial audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

• Provide support for other accounting tasks as needed to meet organizational goals.

Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliations, including balance sheets and bank statements.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and journal entries.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite and Oracle.

• Experience in inventory reconciliation and commissions accounting.

• Ability to manage month-end close processes efficiently and accurately.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with teams.
