Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in finance and accounting while working 100% on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable, payroll, and data entry, with proficiency in industry-standard tools and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Perform coding and data entry for invoices, payments, and payroll-related records.

• Utilize accounting software systems, including ERP platforms and Concur, to streamline financial operations.

• Monitor and manage accrual accounting processes for accurate financial reporting.

• Conduct audits of financial records and transactions to ensure accuracy and integrity.

• Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and other electronic payment methods.

• Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee payments.

• Support month-end and year-end financial closings by preparing necessary documentation.

• Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.

• Assist in resolving discrepancies and addressing vendor or employee inquiries related to payments. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and payroll functions.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, such as ERP platforms and ADP.

• Familiarity with tools like Concur for expense management.

• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and general accounting principles.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes and electronic payments.

• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in financial data entry.

• Advanced skills in Office applications, particularly Excel, for financial reporting and analysis.
