    Description

    Bridget Killen at Robert Half, is currently seeking a Payroll Clerk with full-cycle payroll experience to join a thriving non-profit organization in Albany, OR.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Handle end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments for all employees.

    + Maintain and update payroll records, including wages, withholdings, deductions, and benefits.

    + Prepare payroll reports and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

    + Address and resolve payroll discrepancies while offering exceptional employee support.

    + Collaborate across departments (HR, accounting) regarding benefits, new hires, and payroll adjustments.

    + Ensure payroll systems and processes adhere to organizational policies and legal requirements.

    + Contribute to process improvements and best practices for payroll administration.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + 2–3 years of full-cycle payroll experience (non-profit experience is a plus!).

    + Proficient in payroll software systems, such as ADP, Netsuite, or similar platforms.

    + Solid grasp of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.

    + Strong attention to detail alongside excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

    + Experience with PERS or similar public retirement systems is highly preferred.

    + Outstanding communication and customer service capabilities.
